Project Details

Arqiva is a leading UK communications company, enabling a vibrant digital broadcast economy. They work behind the scenes and are central to millions of vital digital connections and TV programming.

Every day their infrastructure and associated services enable millions of people and machines to connect wherever they are. Through TV, radio, mobile and the Internet of Things (IoT).

When initially approached by Arqiva, our project brief was to provide a modern replacement to the older rack mount and console mount monitors used in their broadcast vehicles.

As a specialist in this area we were confident that we could deliver the right rack mount monitor solution on time, that would meet our customer’s specifications.

Arqiva were looking for rack mount displays which would be fitted into an existing console that they already had in place within an outside broadcast vehicle. This would then allow them to view a live camera feed from the location that they were shooting – this could be a football match, a celebrity event or television program.

The Solution

All of the displays needed to be HD-SDI and 3G compatible, which would ensure that the image was crystal-clear. Therefore we put forward our ‘Rackvision 19 HD-SDI’. This monitor comes with a front sealed IP65 front so is splash resistant and can easily be wiped down to be cleaned. Furthermore, this monitor is housed within a rugged black metal case so is very sturdy.
