Chubb Fire & Security is one of the UK’s best‑known providers of fire safety and security solutions for businesses and organisations nationwide, and have a large involvement with security on power stations within well-known nuclear sites around the country – which is where Flatvision come in!
We have been working alongside for many years, and we feel extremely proud that we have managed to build up such a strong relationship, resulting in Chubb using us time again for many of their projects and also recommending us to many other companies.
At large power stations such as Sellafield and Hunterston B, they require 24/7 high security within the site to monitor visitor movements and locations within the power plant itself.
The Solution
We have provided many of our UltraVision-24 displays to Chubb, and it’s easy to see why their end users are very fond of these 24″ HD professional CCTV LCD monitors – housed within a sturdy metal case with a slim bezel, they have a LED backlight to provide energy saving, a widescreen format and have the PIP (one view is displayed on the full screen at the same time as one or more other views are displayed in inset windows) and POP (this splits the screen into half with two different views of the CCTV camera it’s connected to) functions, making them one of our most popular CCTV LCD solutions.
The multiple inputs that our UltraVision-24 displays have are exceptionally useful in a CCTV environment, as you can link them to a PC and many cameras around the site. They are supplied with a 12vDC power supply and a 3amp external power supply along with accessories such as, a power cable (IEC kettle), VGA cable, audio cable, remote control and a user manual, although the user manual is very rarely needed as the installation for these presents no difficulty.
