Project Details
Wembley Stadium is a football stadium in London, which opened in 2007. The stadium hosts major football matches, including home matches of the England national football team, and the FA Cup Final.
They asked us if we would be able to help with some sunlight-readable broadcast LCD monitors. These were going to be used to display the camera feed for the people in front of the camera. This is so they can see themselves and make sure they look ready to go on live television.
We thought the best solution would be our ‘Broadcast Pro22-HB’. This 21.5″ monitor is perfect for any broadcast projects or applications. This is because the display has a high-bright 1000 cd/m² LCD panel, which is also sunlight readable so can be used in direct sunlight without any problems. The monitor also has VGA, SDI, BNC, S-Video and HDMI inputs, as it is being used in a broadcast application.
We supplied Wembley with a few of these and they were very happy with the performance of the monitor when it was particularly sunny. They were also pleased with the image quality of the monitor.
